# Activity tools

> Use the unified log for tool calls, actions, and rule operations.

Use the unified log for tool calls, actions, and rule operations. Exact filters select known fields; `query` searches text. Follow `next_cursor` until `complete` is true. Time filters form a half-open interval: include `started_after`, exclude `started_before`.

The tables list arguments and common nested fields. Expand **Full input schema** for all fields and allowed values. Workspace and account permissions apply to every tool.

## activity\_list

Search tool calls, actions, and rule runs. Use exact filters such as `tool_name` and `status`, or use `query` for text search. Follow `next_cursor` until `complete` is true.
