# Save and manage memory

> Save facts for later conversations and choose who can use them.

Memory stores facts you want to reuse in later conversations. Save a fact when you ask your agent to remember it or approve a focused suggestion to save it.

## Choose a scope

| Scope | Use it for |
| - | - |
| Private | Your personal working preferences |
| Team | Facts relevant to the workspace |
| Brand | Guidance specific to a brand |
| Ad account | Facts specific to an advertising account |

Brand and ad-account scopes require the corresponding Superlaunch UUID. Private and team scopes do not take a target ID.

## Save a fact

> Remember for this brand that campaign copy must use British English and avoid discount claims unless I provide an approved offer.

The agent should confirm whether it saved the fact. If the fact is still processing, it may take time to appear in search.

Developers: `memory_remember` requires the fact, scope, a request UUID, and consent. See [Memory tools](/mcp/reference/memory) for the possible results.

## Review and correct

Open **Memory** to review available records. Through MCP, `memory_list` lists records and `memory_get` reads an exact record. `memory_recall` finds relevant context for a query.

Read the current version before using `memory_update`, `memory_set_enabled`, or `memory_forget`. Disable a record to stop future retrieval; forget it when you want permanent deletion.

## Interpret recalled facts

Review recalled facts if your plans or brand guidance have changed. Update outdated facts so that later conversations use the right information. Your current instructions take precedence over saved memory.
