# Brand profiles and kits

> Give your team and agent the brand guidance they need.

Use **Brands** to keep a brand profile and structured kit in your workspace.

## Create a profile

Open **Brands** and select **New brand**. Add the name, website, industry, description, markets, and languages that apply. Save the profile, then open **Edit brand** to add its kit.

Creating a brand through MCP does not link ad accounts. Treat account assignment as a separate setup task.

## Add a brand kit

Use the kit to record:

* **Main message**: the brand's positioning.
* **Tagline** and supporting proof points.
* Colors with roles such as primary, accent, background, and text.
* Heading and body fonts.
* Voice traits and writing guidance.

Use concrete guidance, such as “Use short sentences and describe the product's function before its benefits.” Give your agent verified proof points instead of claims it must infer.

## Use the kit through MCP

`brands_list` finds the profile and `brands_get` returns its active kit. Ask your agent to read it before writing campaign copy.

> Read the brand kit for this brand. Draft three ad headlines using its main message and voice guidance. Use only the supporting claims in the kit.

`brands_update` accepts partial updates. Omitted fields keep their values; empty lists clear list fields. A changed kit creates a new immutable version. When no active kit exists, the kit needs `positioning`.

Brand kits hold structured brand guidance. Use [Memory](/guides/memory) for additional facts you explicitly want to retain.
